18th April 2010 - Sunday XI vs Antigua Cavaliers
Cricket season is up and running and we achieved our first win of the season in style against Antigua Cavaliers on Sunday. After winning the toss and batting we got off to a good start with an opening partnership of 140 between I Salter and D Baker. We went on to post a target of 325 in our 40 overs. I Salter top scoring with 199 fell one short of his first double century to a Barrie Crawford LBW. In reply Antigua cavaliers stayed with the run rate but lost wickets at regular intervals leaving them 130-7. they fought back well with a wobble from the fielding side but were eventualy bowled out for 220 with wickets shared around and a couple of good run outs.

1st XI premoted for second year running. Despite loosing the final game of the season to Met Police Bushey we held on to fourth place once again premoting us to division 4 next year. The 2nd XI continued there poor run at the end of the season but managed to finish in mid table hoping to improve again next year
